GHOST DETECTION:
Spectra-Vision Ecto Goggles Electro-Magnetic Discharge Detector Electro-Magnetic Field Detector
This device sweeps for the Psycho-Kinetic Energy of ghosts. The PKE meter was first developed by Dr. Egon Spengler in the early 1980’s. The PKE meter in this picture is a 2004 NJGBA prototype which combines the functionality of the typical PKE meter and GBNJ's original EMDD (see below) into one complete user friendly package. Many ghosts remain hidden to the naked eye. This device filters out the background interference and registers spectral emanations. The goggles were built to be able to download the latest edition of the NJGBA's Spectra-Vision software to make a more user-friendly interface. This prototype device detects the discharge of Electro-Magnetic Fields (EMF) But unlike a EMF detector this device can sense residual EMF trails of ghosts in motion. Developed by GBNJ’s own Dave Mallozzi last year while still a member of Jersey Devil Paranormal Investigations, before the creation of this franchise. This device measures the EMF generated by ghosts. The problem with this device is that many other things produce an EMF (electronics, and living organisms) This is one of the few pieces of tech we regularly use that was not created by GBNJ staff. We bought this from the greatest online paranormal equipment provider...Ebay!

GHOST ELIMINATION:
Proton Pack & Particle Thrower
These devices are the heart of ghostbusting. The proton pack & particle thrower generate a stream of protons designed to entangle a ghost like a cowboy’s lasso, and hold them until a portable ghost trap can be reached. Along with the proton pack this is one of the most crucial devices to a ghostbuster. It is a temporary holding cell for caught ghosts. Permanent storage for caught ghosts. GBNJ constructed the grid in the same method used by Doctors Spengler and Stantz in NYC. It is virtually identical is every respect, except the a slight modification to the trap input door to allow for the GBNJ trap described above.

ECTOMOBILES:

With the rising cost of gas and with out the need for a large vehicle, GBNJ has purchased a 2003 PT Cruiser GT Turbo. We have replaced the passenger-side rear seat with a pivoting laptop computer tray with wireless internet connection to fully access all online databases, including T.O.B.I.N.. It has space enough for a crew of 3 field agent, 3 proton packs, multiple traps, and other gear. Plus an awesome surprise; a roof mounted proton cannon to nuke the spooks on the fly! This is ECTO- 7's twin. Since we use 2 field team we have 2 quick response vehicles. A modified Toyota Corolla that Rich Roy uses to get around the busy streets between the GBNJ main office in Trenton, and the Ghostbusters International building in NYC...or just to the local Wendy's for some Jr. Cheeseburgers. In a pinch it can be used on calls, but it only has storage for a couple of packs and traps. It also sports an in-dash DVD display hooked up to T.O.B.I.N. The newest member to the GBNJ fleet. This 2005 Mustang is the rapid response vehicle deployed to emergency cases. the car is fitted with the latest Ecto-location sensors all neatly tucked away as to not ruin the beautiful lines of the Mustang. It was the Ectomobile featured in the hit GBNJ movie "Leeds' Curse"
